changelog for V0.99

– Continuation and end of King Bogus route (1 scene).
– Continuation and end of Joseph route (1 scene + 1 illustration).

I almost didn’t make it in time, but I fought as hard as I could to honour my words! This release was a tough one, the two new minigames took me way more time than I anticipated, I hope you appreciate them.

This will be the last content update for FoJ that’s why I took the liberty to name it 0.99 and not 0.23, there will be the last version (1.0) that will consist of bug fixing and polishing some elements (like bad grammar etc.) but for me, it’s mostly complete as it is.

Anyway, please enjoy and don’t forget to report any issues you might encounter.

– Continuation and end of Belinda route (1 scene).
– Continuation and end of Allan route (1 scene).
– Added secret ending (1 scene).
– Reworked a bit how the choices interact with each other (nothing major but it was needed in order for me to put the secret ending into the game).
– Decreased the difficulty of some minigames.

v0.18 
– Continuation of Simon alternate route (+1 scene). [Happens if you choose ‘Let it go’ choice in the Witch’s Lair sequence] (Please read walkthrough, choices and consequences have slightly changed to unlock Simon route).
– Continuation of Allan route (+1 scene). (Please read walkthrough, choices and consequences have slightly changed to unlock Allan route).
– Added 1 optional scene on the Joseph route, happens before the Blowjob sequence in the casino. Can be triggered by taking the bus after Juliet ‘Hotpants’ is introduced.
– An attempt at fixing lag on lower hardware, optimized weathers and clouds a lot.
– Reworked the Save system, now shows screenshot of location. Much better overall.
[Warning: Sadly that new save system means all previous saves will stop working, you have to start a fresh game, again sorry for the inconvenience. I included a new updated save at the ‘Totem of Choice’ in this version (in the folder ‘Save (ToGainSomeTime)’, so use it if you don’t want to play from the beginning .]
Tips: If you still have low performance, try to play the game in windowed mode and avoid fullscreen. The performance is really better that way. I will keep looking into the lag issue in the next update as well.

v0.19 
Continuation of Simon alternate route (+1 scene). [Happens if you take the ‘Resist!’ choice in the Witch’s Lair sequence].
Continuation of King Bogus route (+1 scene and +1 illustration).
New demon costume & sprite for Juliet.
Fixed the need to perform a save to unlock a scene in the Replay Room, now simply watching a scene will automatically unlock it permanently across all the game in the Replay Room.
Fixed some issues with the ‘new’ save system as well, now works smoother and doesn’t give some weird visual artifacts anymore when scrolling or using it.
Found a way to improve significantly the performance by updating nw.js to the most recent version while still remaining on MV1.4 and not break anything. Hopefully could be big for modest hardware.
